United Nations Climate Neutral Business pledge
Picture
The United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change is calling on any businesses or organizations to contribute to limiting temperature rise and take climate action and urges them to sign the Climate Neutral Now Pledge. Therefore, a minimum turnover of a company or organization is not required. Moreover, the pledge represents a growing movement of organizations, events, companies and individuals taking the lead on reducing emissions and accelerating the global journey to a climate-neutral future.

Please see the files below for a more thorough explanation and the requirements for becoming a signatory.

Do you have the skills and / knowledge to help our cause?
CPCAG is here for the residents of Castle Point and we want your views and ideas. Do you have skills or resources that could help us achieve our goals? For example, are you able to help with:
  • a 'repair and mend' cafe
  • providing educational talks
  • local walks
  • litter picks
  • charity shops
  • guerilla gardening
  • monitoring of tree removal
  • enhancing green spaces
Anything that can help. You may not realise it, but you may have the knowledge and skills needed to help Castle Point achieve its goals to a greener future.

There is nothing to lose and everything to gain- just drop us a message through the contact us page.

You might like to take a look at the website of the Carbon Copy initiative, where you'll see how 'green' projects have been rolling out very successfully in communities across the UK and can provide food for thought in Castle
